PsA and Aging

Although PsA can be diagnosed at any age (generally in early and mid-adulthood), it is important to understand that PsA is a progressive disorder and that its effects accumulate over the course of a lifetime. If left untreated, PsA and its manifestations can negatively impact health, resulting in irreversible joint damage, and limitation of function. To this end, early diagnosis, diligent management, and active treatment are key to reducing overall disease burden.
